21st Century advances in technology, communications and transportation have brought diverse cultures together in an unprecedented manner throughout the world.
Rocky Mountain Intercultural Institute workshops and resources are designed to teach skills that promote positive intercultural interactions. Workshop participants will:
- Learn intercultural competency skills that can be utilized to increase their understanding and abilities in working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Expand their understanding of their own personal cultural base.
- Identify cultural differences in their clients and co-workers and learn how these differences impact their work.
- Learn to apply intercultural competency skills to maximize goal outcomes in their personal lives.
As we become comfortable with difference, living and working with people who have beliefs and lifestyles that are different from our own becomes more manageable, even enjoyable.
